About the service
Jambies Practice Hub is provided by Kabushiki Kaisha Worldwise, represented by Brian Shepherd, Chief Executive Officer, at 2078 Ogasahara, Minami-Alps-shi, Yamanashi 400-0306, Japan. Contact 055-283-5421 for service questions. These terms concern use of the learning app, not the separate development agreement between Worldwise and its technical provider.
Parents, guardians and testing
A parent or guardian should review these terms and the Privacy policy before allowing a child to use Jambies, help manage account access, and supervise microphone use. The service is currently being developed and tested. Use adult-controlled test accounts and do not enter real children's personal information in the no-login demo.
Access and textbooks
Use only accounts and access supplied or authorized for you. Keep credentials and any textbook activation code secure; do not publish or resell them. Planned textbook-code access will not require enrollment in a particular school or school approval. That activation flow is still in development, and this page does not promise that self-registration is currently available. Any future paid offer will disclose its price, access period and applicable purchase conditions before purchase. These terms do not create a subscription or a promise of lifetime access.
Appropriate use
Use the service for authorized learning and teaching. Do not interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, access another learner's information, upload unlawful material, or submit recordings of others without appropriate permission. Follow reasonable limits on automated requests and speech-service use.
Learning materials and recordings
Jambies textbook content, artwork, recordings, branding and other learning materials belong to Worldwise or their respective rights holders. Access permits their use in authorized learning activities; it does not transfer ownership or permit redistribution. Your own recordings remain yours. Submitting a recording permits the processing needed to provide the selected practice, playback and enabled speech-checking features, as described in the Privacy policy.
Feedback and progress
Speech-recognition feedback may be inaccurate and is not a formal language test, diagnosis or guarantee of learning outcomes. Ask a teacher or supervising adult when feedback is unclear. Points and levels are learning feedback with no cash value. Current demo progress may exist only on one browser and may be lost if browser data is cleared; it should not be relied on as a permanent academic record.
Availability and changes
Development features may change, become temporarily unavailable or be withdrawn from testing. Internet access, compatible devices, microphone permissions and third-party services affect availability. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect users and the service. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide a way to contact Worldwise.
Your rights and questions
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer or other mandatory law. Japanese law applies, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. Contact Worldwise to discuss concerns, privacy requests or account closure. We will publish changes here and communicate material changes before they apply to continued use.
